"Simpsons" DVD stays No. 1 on sales chart

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - "The Simpsons Movie" ruled the national sales chart for a second week, while "Rush Hour 3" and "The Kingdom" bowed at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively, according to Nielsen VideoScan data issued Thursday.

"American Pie Presents: Beta House," the third in a series of direct-to-video sequels to "American Pie," debuted at No. 12 in the week ended December 30.

On Home Media Magazine's rental chart for the week, "Rush Hour 3" debuted at No. 1, with estimated rental revenues of $11.9 million. "The Kingdom" debuted at No. 2 with $11.2 million. "The Simpsons Movie" fell to No. 3, but still managed to rake in a respectable $10.6 million.
