LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Samuel L. Jackson is set to star in the suspense thriller "Unthinkable."

In the story, penned by Peter Woodward with revisions by Oren Moverman ("I'm Not There"), the U.S. faces a major threat from three nuclear devices, whose locations are known to one suspect. With only two days before they are deployed, a black-ops interrogator (Jackson) and a female FBI agent have to decide how far they will go to find the weapons.

Gregor Jordon is slated to direct the Senator Entertainment production.

Jackson will be seen later this year in Frank Miller's comic-book adaptation "The Spirit."
