Rapper Xzibit going to war for Oliver Stone

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Rapper Xzibit has joined the cast of Oliver Stone's Vietnam War drama "Pinkville," which centers in the infamous My Lai massacre of more than 500 people by U.S. soldiers.
Xzibit, whose real name is Alvin Joiner, will play a soldier who is convinced he carried out his orders in a moral way.
He joins Bruce Willis, Channing Tatum and Woody Harrelson in the United Artists project, which is set to begin production next year.
Xzibit's credits include "Gridiron Gang," "Derailed" and "XXX: State of the Union." As a rapper, he has sold more than 3 million records.
