Brittany Murphy drawn to "Something Wicked"

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Brittany Murphy has joined Shantel VanSanten and John Robinson in the psychological thriller "Something Wicked."

The story follows a teenager and his girlfriend, whose lives are thrown into chaos when her parents are killed. The film is shooting in Oregon.

Producer-turned-director Darin Scott is at the helm. Joe Colleran, who is producing, wrote the script from a story by Joseph Mungra.
