BANGALORE, March 4 (Reuters) - The following corporate finance-related stories were reported by media on Thursday:

* A block sale or a partial block sale and a second public offering are options for General Electric Co’s (GE.N) divestment of its 20.85 percent stake in Turkey’s Garanti bank, Milliyet newspaper reported on Thursday. [ID:nLDE62306Z]

* Shinsei Bank (8303.T) and Aozora Bank (8304.T), the two midsize Japanese lenders owned by U.S. funds, are resuming their merger talks, Jiji News reported on Thursday. [ID:nTKV006344]

* British publishing group Pearson Plc (PSON.L) has shortlisted three private equity teams and one trade player as bidders for financial market data provider Interactive Data Corp IDC.N, the Financial Times reported. [ID:nSGE623076]

* China’s Bright Food Group will sweeten its offer to buy Australian CSR Ltd’s (CSR.AX) sugar business and hopes to complete the deal by the end of the year, the China Daily reported on Thursday, citing a top company official. [ID:nTOE79990]

* Cinema chain Inox Leisure (INOL.BO) is likely to increase its open offer price for Fame India FAME.BO to attract minority shareholders and stave off a bid by Reliance MediaWorks RELM.BO for Fame India, a newspaper report said. [ID:nSGE62303A]
