OAK HILL INVESTMENT MANGEMENT
Money managers Oak Hill said Mark Anson joined the Menlo Park, California, firm as chairman of the investment committee. Anson comes from Nuveen Investments [MDPRTN.UL], where he was president and executive director of investment services.
M&A attorney Anthony Rosso has joined lawfirm Venable in Baltimore as a partner. Rosso joins from DLA Piper, where he was also a partner.
MCDERMOTT WILL & EMERY LLP
Lawfirm McDermott Will & Emery LLP said Matthew Rizzo joined as a corporate transactions partner based in New York. Rizzo focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital and restructurings.
RODMAN & RENSHAW CAPITAL GROUP INC RODM.O
The group's investment bank, Rodman & Renshaw LLC appointed five senior analysts to its equity research department. Ashok Kumar joins as senior technology analyst and Lewis Fan as senior China analyst, while Suraj Kalia was named senior medical device analyst.
Michael Higgins joins as senior specialty pharmaceuticals analyst and Douglas Rainwater as senior bank analyst. All five are also managing directors.
ERNST & YOUNG [ERNY.UL]
The firm's Europe, Middle East, India and Africa financial services business named Roy O'Neil as a partner of its financial services performance improvement team. O'Neil, who joins from Deloitte, will be based in London and begins immediately.
The personalized investment management services provider named Marck Hendricks as investment manager. Hendricks joins from HSBC Global Asset Management (HSBA.L) and will be based in London.
BARCLAYS PLC (BARC.L)
The financial services provider appointed Alison Carnwath as a non-executive director of Barclays Bank. Carnwath, who has previously worked with Sears PLC and National Power PLC, will begin from Aug. 1.

Separately, Citigroup's Prime Finance division named John Nicholson, who joins from Barclays Capital, as managing director within the United States trading team and Eric Hughson, who joins from Commerzbank, as a managing director within the European trading team. Nicholson will be based in New York, while Hughson, in London.
The Australia and New Zealand banking group named Mark Robinson as chief executive officer, South and South East Asia. Robinson, who joins from Citigroup, will be based in Singapore and will begin in June.
BANK OF AMERICA (BAC.N) - MERRILL LYNCH
The firm's Merrill Lynch Wealth Management company named Guy Wynter as a senior portfolio manager in the firm's portfolio management division. Wynter, who was previously with BlackRock Investment Management, will be based in London.
Separately, Bank of America hired seven people for its global corporate banking business. Carole Berndt and Wayne Scott join in London, accompanied by Denise Menelly in New York, Charles Alexander, Ivo Distelbrink and Tim Fleming in Hong Kong and Percy Batliwalla in Singapore.
The company's merchant banking division, Heritage Capital, named Rolf Friedrich as managing director in the capital market group. Friedrich, who joins from LBBW, will be based in London.
The Dutch bank named Arjan de Boer as head of private banking, Hong Kong. Boer has previously worked with Hollandsche Bank Unie.
J.P. MORGAN (JPM.N)
The firm named Pablo Lopez Medrano as a senior private banker for its team in Spain. Pablo joins from La Caixa and has worked previously with Morgan Stanley (MS.N). He will be based in Madrid.
PROMONTORY FINANCIAL GROUP
