HELSINKI, Sept 19 (Reuters) - Finnish insurance companies have only minor exposure to risks created by troubled U.S.-based financial sector firms Lehman Brothers LEH.N and AIG (AIG.N), the industry regulator said on Friday.

Property & casualty (P&C) insurance companies' exposure is about 10 million euros ($14.5 million) and life insurers about 20 million euros, the insurance Supervisory Authority said in a statement.

Pension insurers have 30 million euros of risk exposure to Lehman and AIG, it said. (Reporting by Sakari Suoninen; Editing by Paul Bolding)
