Sirva says court approves shareholder settlement
NEW YORK, Oct 31 (Reuters) - SIRVA Inc. SIR.N, a moving and relocation services company, said on Wednesday that a U.S. court had approved the company's $53.3 million settlement in an investor class-action lawsuit.
The suit had accused the Westmont, Illinois-based company and some executives of securities law violations. SIRVA agreed to settle the case in June, and did not admit wrongdoing in agreeing to settle all claims in the nearly three-year-old lawsuit.
The settlement was awaiting court approval to be made official.
