EU agency backs J&J's Intelence for some HIV patients.
LONDON, June 26 (Reuters) - The European Medicines Agency has recommended approval of Johnson & Johnson's (JNJ.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) Intelence for use in combination with other medicines for the treatment of HIV in adults, the drugs watchdog said on Thursday.
Recommendations for marketing approval by the London-based agency's Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) are normally endorsed by the European Commission within a couple of months. (Reporting by Michael Kahn)
