GSK gets Japanese approval for Advair, Arixtra
LONDON, April 18 (Reuters) - GlaxoSmithKline Plc (GSK.L) said on Wednesday it had received Japanese approval for asthma drug Advair, which is also known as Seretide, and anti-thrombotic treatment Arixtra.
"We expect sales of Seretide/Advair in Japan will make a significant contribution to worldwide sales of this important GSK product," Europe's biggest drugmaker said in a statement.
"The additional news, that Arixtra is also approved today...is further evidence of a strong product pipeline coming to fruition in this key international market."
