Hi-Tech Pharmacal gets FDA nod to market generic Penlac
Sept 19 (Reuters) - Hi-Tech Pharmacal Co Inc (HITK.O: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said U.S. health regulators granted final approval for its Ciclopirox topical solution, a generic version of Dermik Laboratories' Penlac nail fungus treatment.
Penlac topical solution had sales of $87 million in 2006 based on IMS sales data, the maker of over-the-counter generic drugs added. (Reporting by Neha Pathania in Bangalore)
