Perrigo gets FDA nod for generic Penlac nail-fungus treatment
Sept 19 (Reuters) - Perrigo Co (PRGO.O: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said it received final approval from U.S. health regulators for Ciclopirox topical solution, a generic version of Sanofi-Aventis' (SASY.PA: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) Penlac nail-fungus treatment.
The generic drugmaker said brand sales for Penlac for the last 12 months ending August were $92 million, citing data from publisher Wolters Kluwer. (Reporting by Neha Pathania in Bangalore)
