July 5 (Reuters) - Partner Communications Co. Ltd. (PTNR.O) (PTNR.TA) said it was served a lawsuit requesting certification as a class action, alleging that Israel's second-largest mobile phone operator over-billed one million subscribers.

The suit was filed in the District Court of Tel-Aviv, the company said in a regulatory filing.

If the lawsuit is certified as a class action, the total amount claimed from Partner is estimated to be about 1.5 billion shekels by the plaintiff, it added.
