Whole Foods affirms support for CEO Mackey

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct 5 (Reuters) - Whole Foods Market (WFMI.O) affirmed its support for Chief Executive John Mackey on Friday after it completed an internal investigation into his anonymous online postings about the company.

Whole Foods said it had turned over its findings to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and would cooperate with the commission's related inquiry. The company said it had no further comment.
