Hi-Tech Pharmacal gets tentative nod for nail fungus treatment
April 17 (Reuters) - Hi-Tech Pharmacal Co. Inc. (HITK.O: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said the U.S. Food and Drug Administration tentatively approved its Ciclopirox, which is the generic equivalent of Dermik Laboratories' Penlac nail fungus treatment.
Final approval is expected upon expiration of Penlac's patent on Sept. 18, the company said in a statement. (Reporting by Anant Vijay Kala in Bangalore)
