Stryker says to recall certain hip surgery products

Jan 22 (Reuters) - Stryker Corp (SYK.N) said it is recalling its hip surgery products, Trident PSL and Hemispherical Acetabular Cups, manufactured in its Cork facility in Ireland, as they did not meet internal specifications.

The artificial hip and knee maker said it does not expect any material financial impact on its 2008 outlook as a result of the recall. (Reporting by Varsha Tickoo in Bangalore; Editing by Amitha Rajan)
