ATHENS, April 19 The mission of European Union
and International Monetary Fund officials to Greece will discuss
the possibility of Athens taking new austerity measures,
Eurogroup chairman Jean-Claude Juncker was quoted as saying on
Juncker told Greek website Euro2day the European Commission,
the European Central Bank and the IMF would agree on common
terms in discussions over an economic programme they will
discuss with Greece this week and which analysts say may lead
the euro zone state to tap an international bailout.
Juncker said that if Greece asks for the aid, euro zone
states would take their responsibility and that "there is
European money when it becomes necessary", the website reported.
