Greece sticks to 'no restructuring' stance- govt spox

ATHENS, April 14 (Reuters) - Greece on Thursday reiterated that it is not considering restructuring its debt and said it will stick with the economic adjustment plan agreed with the EU and the IMF to emerge from its debt crisis.

“The government’s position on this issue is the same (no debt restructuring) ... What we want is to meet our fiscal targets,” government spokesman George Petalotis told reporters.

The cost of insuring Greek government debt against default rose above 1,100 basis poinst on Thursday on growing talk the overborrowed country will need to restructure its debt. (Reporting by Renee Maltezou)
