Sanofi declines comment on possible BMS deal
PARIS (Reuters) - French pharmaceuticals group Sanofi (SASY.PA) on Tuesday declined comment on an article in Times newspaper suggesting the group was looking at a merger with Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMY.N).
The spokesman however denied there was a divergence of views between chairman Jean-Francois Le Hecq and chief executive Gerard le Fur, as the Times reported.
There have been regular rumors about a friendly tie-up between the two groups to create a global drugs giant.
