Teva gets tentative FDA nod to market generic Gemzar
May 8 (Reuters) - Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (TEVA.O) said it got tentative regulatory approval to market its generic version of Eli Lilly and Co.'s (LLY.N) cancer treatment Gemzar for injection.
Teva is facing a patent suit on this product and a final approval is expected upon the earlier of a favorable decision in the case or expiry of the mandatory stay of approval in July 2008, the world's largest generic drugmaker said in a statement.
