GE Healthcare says FDA OKs mammography device
BOSTON, Aug 22 (Reuters) - The healthcare unit of General Electric Co (GE.N) said on Wednesday it received U.S. regulatory approval for a new mobile mammography screening device.
The conglomerate said the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's approval of the device would make it easier to increase screenings for breast cancer in rural areas.
