Teva says U.S. approves generic form of Accupril

NEW YORK, Aug 27 (Reuters) - Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (TEVA.O) said on Monday that U.S. regulators had approved its generic form of Pfizer Inc's (PFE.N) Accupril treatment for high blood pressure.

The Israel-based drugmaker said all forms of Accupril, including generic products already sold under its chemical name quinapril, had U.S. sales of $150 million during the 12 months ending June 30.
