Teva to sell generic OxyContin through end-2007
March 6 (Reuters) - Drugmaker Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (TEVA.O: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz)(TEVA.TA: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said it will continue to sell the generic version of painkiller OxyContin tablets at least through the end of 2007.
In October 2006, Teva settled a patent dispute with privately held Purdue Frederick Co. and some affiliates over the generic version of Purdue's OxyContin.
