Obama picks Daschle as health secretary: Democrats
CHICAGO (Reuters) - U.S. President-elect Barack Obama has selected former U.S. senator Tom Daschle to become secretary of health and human services, two Democratic officials said.
Daschle, a former senator majority leader, has accepted the job, they said.
