Strong quake hits Indonesia's Sumba island
JAKARTA, July 13 (Reuters) - A strong earthquake has struck Indonesia's Sumba island, although there were no immediate reports of damage or casualties, an official at the country's meteorology and geophysics agency said on Monday.
The quake had a magnitude of 6.0 and was 132 km (82 miles) southeast of Raba in Sumbawa and 275 km west of Ende in Flores, the U.S. Geological Survey said on its web site. Its epicentre was at a depth of 87 km. (Reporting by Telly Nathalia; Writing by Ed Davies; Editing by Jerry Norton)
