HK shares pace Wall St fall, oil plays underperform

 HONG KONG, Nov 2 (Reuters) - Hong Kong blue chips dropped 2.9
percent and China plays tumbled 3.6 percent on Friday as sharp
declines on Wall Street prompted investors to sell across the
board, with recent big gainers such as Sinopec Corp (0386.HK: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz)
taking big hits.
 The benchmark Hang Seng Index .HSI opened at 30,580.07.
 The China Enterprises index of H shares .HSCE, or Hong
Kong-listed shares in mainland companies, opened at 19,446.24.
