HK shares rebound sharply as Li & Fung leaps

HONG KONG, Nov 14 (Reuters) - Hong Kong stocks rebounded broadly on Wednesday following a rally on Wall Street, with export play Li & Fung (0494.HK: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) the top blue chip gainer after its key customer Wal-Mart (WMT.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) reported surprisingly strong earnings.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index .HSI opened up 3.5 percent at 28,787.40.
The China Enterprises index of H shares .HSCE, or Hong Kong-listed shares in mainland companies, jumped 4.3 percent at the open. (Reporting by Rita Chang; editing by Anne Marie Roantree)
