HK blue chips flat, but new issue Sinoma surges

 HONG KONG, Dec 20 (Reuters) - Hong Kong blue chips opened
flat on Thursday, with investors sidelined ahead of the holidays,
but the lacklustre mood did not damp enthusiasm for new issue
China National Materials Company Ltd (Sinoma) (1893.HK: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), the
world's largest cement engineering service provider.
 The benchmark Hang Seng Index .HSI opened at 27,034.60.
 The China Enterprises index of H shares .HSCE, or Hong
Kong-listed shares in mainland companies, was up 0.4 percent as
of 0203 GMT.
