HK shares gains as telecoms, oil stocks rise

HONG KONG, Dec 24 (Reuters) - Hong Kong stocks rose on Monday, tracking gains on the U.S. market, with telecoms stocks up on reports the Chinese government will restructure the industry and and oil stocks rallying on higher crude prices.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index .HSI opened 1.22 percent higher than Friday's close, and was trading up 1.42 percent to 28,019.92 as of 0204 GMT.
The China Enterprises index of H shares .HSCE, or Hong Kong-listed shares in mainland companies, was up 2.1 percent as of 0204 GMT. (Reporting by Judy Hua, editing by Dominic Whiting)
