HONG KONG, Feb 18 (Reuters) - Hong Kong stocks rose on
Monday, as investors shrugged off Wall Street losses and looked
instead to strong gains in Asian equities, with resource stocks
ringing up further gains on strong metal prices.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index .HSI opened up 0.8 percent at
24,344.27.
The resource-heavy China Enterprises index of H-shares
.HSCE, or Hong Kong-listed shares in mainland companies, was up
1.8 percent at 0202 GMT.
