HK stocks drop further on renewed US recession fears

HONG KONG, March 10 (Reuters) - Hong Kong stocks fell on Monday, as investors sold shares across the board on deepening fears of a U.S. recession after the latest U.S. labour data showed employers cut jobs by the most in nearly five years.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index .HSI opened down 0.5 percent at 22,387.25. The China Enterprises Index of Hong Kong-listed mainland companies .HSCE, or H shares, was down 1.5 percent at 12,147.57. (Reporting by Rita Chang; Editing by Anne Marie Roantree)
