HK stocks steady ahead of earnings, Fed decision

 HONG KONG, April 29 (Reuters) - Hong Kong stocks were steady
on Tuesday, tracking near flat U.S. markets, as investors
await earnings results from the likes of ICBC (1398.HK: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) and ahead
of the Federal Reserve's interest-rate decision on Wednesday.
 The benchmark Hang Seng Index .HSI opened down 0.02 percent
at 25,661.96 points.
 The China Enterprises Index of Hong Kong-listed mainland
companies .HSCE, or H shares, was up 0.04 percent as of 0202
GMT.
