Hong Kong stocks hold steady after softer open
HONG KONG, May 19 (Reuters) - Hong Kong stocks eased slightly at the open on Monday but quickly moved back into positive territory, tracking firmer regional markets, with building and raw materials counters in focus.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index .HSI opened down 0.10 percent at 25,592.21 but it had edged up 0.29 percent at 0208 GMT. The China Enterprises Index of Hong Kong-listed companies .HSCE, or H shares, had risen 0.15 percent by 0208 GMT. (Reporting by Donny Kwok; Editing by Anne Marie Roantree)
