HONG KONG, July 10 (Reuters) - Hong Kong shares will open barely changed on Friday as worry about the global economic outlook persists, but investors piled into newly listed Amber Energy, drawn by its attractive valuations.

Amber Energy (0090.HK), a gas-fired power plant operator, surged 54.2 percent to HK$2.56 on its debut, outstripping its issue price of HK$1.66.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index .HSI will start 9.46 points higher at 17,800.05.

The China Enterprises Index .HSCE, which represents top locally listed mainland Chinese stocks, will open 0.1 percent higher at 10,648.63.
