HK Hot Stocks: China BlueChemical sinks, gold plays up

HONG KONG, Nov 26 (Reuters) - Here are some stocks on the move in Hong Kong on Monday:

As of 0243 GMT, the blue-chip Hang Seng Index .HSI was up 3.4 percent, tracking gains in other Asian markets.

The index opened up 3.2 percent at 27,398.53.

STOCKS ON THE MOVE:

* Yanzhou Coal (1171.HK: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), which specialises in thermal coal, rang up a 7.7 percent gain to HK$14.06 after Australia's thermal coal index struck a record [ID:nSYD137666].

China Shenhua Energy (1088.HK: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) gained 4.6 percent to HK$42.55 and China Coal (1898.HK: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) rose 5.5 percent to HK$20.40.

* China BlueChemical Ltd (3983.HK: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) edged down 4.4 percent to HK$4.40 after saying it expects resumed production on or about Jan. 1 at two plants in Hainan province that were forced to shut when a natural gas pipeline was damaged [ID:nPEK271369]. Investors had expected production would resume sooner.

* Gold shares reverse slide, tracks gold prices higher

ZIjin Mining (2899.HK: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) shot up 11 percent to HK$10.54 and Lingbao Gold (3330.HK: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) leapt 6.2 percent to HK$4.63.  Continued...
