HK Hot Stocks: Air China, Vietnam Manufacturing jumps

HONG KONG, Dec 28 (Reuters) - Here are some stocks on the move in Hong Kong on Friday:

As of 0305 GMT, the blue-chip Hang Seng Index .HSI was down 1.3 percent at 27,486.15.

The index opened down 1.19 percent.

STOCKS ON THE MOVE:

* Air China (0753.HK) jumped as much as 5 percent as Hong Kong and mainland China agreed to relax restrictions on aviation services, letting carriers such as Air China expand flights and cargo services. [ID:nHKG185022]

* Vietnam Manufacturing & Export Processing Ltd (0422.HK), which debuted last week, jumped as much as 19 percent.

* China Telecom (0728.HK) rose more than 2 percent as investors speculated that the fixed-line operator would get a licence to conduct mobile business in an industry reshuffle that would start next year. Telecoms equipment maker ZTE (0763.HK) climbed 1.8 percent.

*ICBC (Asia) (0349.HK) gained 0.4 percent after Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) said it had agreed to buy HK$1.92 billion worth of shares and warrants of ICBC (Asia) from the Spanish Fortis Bank (FOR.BR). (Reporting by Judy Hua, editing by Anne Marie Roantree)
