HK Hot Stocks: Ping An, TCL Multimedia up, SMIC down
HONG KONG, April 30 (Reuters) - Here are some stocks on the move in Hong Kong on Wednesday.
As of 0237 GMT, the benchmark Hang Seng Index .HSI was steady at 25,918.20 points, up 0.02 percent.
The China Enterprises Index of Hong Kong-listed mainland companies .HSCE, or H shares, was down 0.17 percent at 14,272.99 points.
STOCKS ON THE MOVE:
* Shares in TCL Multimedia (1070.HK: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) jumped 17 percent after it reported a net profit of HK$168 million in the first quarter, reversing a HK$67 million loss the same period last year.

* Shares in China's Ping An Insurance (2318.HK: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) (601318.SS: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) rose 4.3 percent on Wednesday after it reported a 24 percent rise in first-quarter profits, as premium growth and income from its banking operations offset a slowdown in investment income.
