Carlsberg shares fall 5 percent after rights issue
COPENHAGEN (Reuters) - Carlsberg (CARLb.CO: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) shares fell as much as 5 percent in early trade after the Danish brewer announced a deeply discounted 30.5 billion crown ($6.3 billion) rights issue.
By 3:06 a.m. EDT (0706 GMT), Carlsberg traded at 650 crowns, down 3.7 percent, while the Copenhagen top 20 index was up 0.2 percent.
