Apple shares up after iPhone debut

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Shares of Apple Inc. (AAPL.O) rose more than 1 percent to $123.38 in before the bell on Monday after the company's iPhone begun selling on Friday.

Apple sold about 525,000 iPhones at Apple and AT&T Inc. (T.N) stores in the first weekend since its June 29 launch, the Los Angeles Times reported on Monday, citing an analyst.
