Genta stock fall prompts Nasdaq notice

NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. biopharmaceutical company Genta Inc GNTA.O said on Monday that it received a notice from Nasdaq saying its shares did not comply with listing rules, which require a minimum closing bid price of $1.00.

Genta shares earlier fell 4 cents, or 6.15 percent, to 61 cents. The company said it has until June 16, 2008, to regain compliance.
