Oracle shares fall after results; IBM, SAP down
NEW YORK (Reuters) - Shares of Oracle Corp (ORCL.O: Quote, Profile, Research) fell 9 percent after the closing bell on Wednesday after the business software company reported quarterly results that included revenue below analysts' expectations.
Oracle shares were down at $19.05 after closing at $20.94 on the Nasdaq.
Shares of technology services company International Business Machines (IBM.N: Quote, Profile, Research) declined as well after Oracle's results and were last down 0.6 percent at $116.26 in after-hours trading. U.S.-listed shares of German business software company SAP (SAP.N: Quote, Profile, Research) were down 3.5 percent at $50.10.
