Fitch revises Hungary outlook to stable, affirms at BB-plus

NEW YORK, Dec 20 (Reuters) - Rating agency Fitch on Thursday revised Hungary's outlook to stable from negative, citing the country's progress in cutting its budget deficit and stabilizing government debt.

The agency also affirmed Hungary's BB-plus rating.

"Hungary has demonstrated a strong commitment to contain its general government deficit (GGD) to under 3 percent of GDP," Fitch said in a statement.
