Nov 3 (Reuters) - Some small and midcap stocks to watch on Tuesday:

COGNIZANT TECHNOLOGY (CTSH.O), $40.35, up 4 percent

The company posted third-quarter results that blew past market expectations and raised its outlook for the year. [ID:nBNG378164]

SYNCHRONOSS TECHNOLOGIES INC (SNCR.O), closed at $11.60

The communication software maker posted quarterly earnings that met market expectations and forecast a strong finish to the year. [ID:nBNG508455]

DOLLAR FINANCIAL CORP (DLLR.O), closed at $18.10

The pay day lender and pawnshop operator posted a first-quarter profit that topped market estimates and forecast 2010 earnings above expectations. [ID:nBNG413038]

TEXAS ROADHOUSE (TXRH.O), closed at $9.39

The bar-and-grill restaurant chain posted a quarterly profit above market estimates and raised its '09 earnings view. [ID:nBNG470546]

PEET'S COFFEE & TEA (PEET.O), $32.96, down 5 percent

The gourmet coffee chain agreed to buy Diedrich Coffee Inc (DDRX.O) in a $212 million cash-and-stock deal. [ID:nBNG501136]

KINDRED HEALTHCARE (KND.N), closed at $15.34

The long term acute care hospitals owner reported higher-than-expected quarterly results, but forecast 2010 profit below market estimates. [ID:nBNG486629]

SYNIVERSE HOLDINGS INC (SVR.N), closed at $17.25

The company posted a lower quarterly profit and tightened its full-year revenue outlook. [ID:nBNG513081]

TNS INC (TNS.N), closed at $28.90
