TRANSCEPT PHARMACEUTICALS (TSPT.O), $5.90, down 49 pct

The company said the U.S. Food and Drug Administration did not approve its experimental sleep disorder drug Intermezzo, citing safety issues. [ID:nBNG93325]

INTERDIGITAL INC (IDCC.O), $20.39, up 10 pct

The wireless technology firm posted a better-than-expected third-quarter. [ID:nBNG260543]

HARMONIC INC (HLIT.O), $5.30, down 11 pct

MICROMET INC (MITI.O), $5.47, up 11 pct

GRAFTECH INTERNATIONAL LTD (GTI.N), $14.60, up 15 pct

The company reported a 92 percent fall in quarterly profit but raised its 2009 operating income outlook. [ID:nBNG152241]
