沙特师生工作中产生恋情 被判鞭刑

路透利雅得7月6日电---本周,法院将就沙特一名生化学家和女学生的电话恋情案进行上诉审核。此前,低等法院曾就此案进行宣判,认为他们在研究项目中的师生关系引发了两人的电话恋情。

去年11月,因该生化学家与其女学生发生电话恋情,导致女学生与丈夫离婚,法院判决该生化学家入狱8月,并鞭打600次。同时判决女学生入狱4个月,鞭打350次。

位于伦敦的大赦国际(Amnesty International)表示,若执行裁决,这两人只能算是道德犯。

人权组织和沙特的一些改革者曾经批评沙特的司法制度过于专断,不符合沙特2500万民众的需要。

而沙特的法官则认为,该判决的做出是严格执行伊斯兰教瓦哈比教派的教义。(完)
