Twelve killed, 31 wounded in Texas army base attack

HOUSTON, Nov 5 (Reuters) - At least 12 people were killed and 31 wounded when a U.S. soldier opened fire at the Fort Hood, Texas U.S. Army base on Thursday, base spokesman Lieutenant-General Bob Cone said.
