Briefs-Czech striker Baros to join Galatasaray

Soccer-Czech striker Milan Baros is to join Galatasaray after the Turkish club and Olympique Lyon agreed the move for an undisclosed fee, the seven-times French champions said on their website (www.olweb.fr).
Baros, 26, was in Istanbul to sign a contract with Galatasaray.
Rugby - Springbok prop forward CJ van der Linde and Wallabies flanker Rocky Elsom have been suspended after citings in Australia's 27-15 defeat of South Africa on Saturday.
A South Africa, New Zealand and Australia (SANZAR) statement said Elsom was suspended for a week for tackling Springbok captain Victor Matfield in the air at a lineout.
Van der Linde was found guilty of dangerous play and has been suspended for four weeks. Both will miss Saturday's second test between South Africa and Australia in Johannesburg.
Cricket - New Zealand Cricket has named a mix of established players and newcomers for its A team's tour of Australia and India. Coach John Bracewell said the players were selected with an eye to the future.
The team leaves for Brisbane on Friday, where they will play warm up matches against the Queensland Bulls before heading to India next week for a one-day tri-series against India A and Australia A.
Rugby - England's 2003 Rugby World Cup success under coach Clive Woodward "left no legacy", the RFU's elite rugby director Rob Andrew said.
"Without naming names, I do want to make the point that the 2003 World Cup coaching team effectively left no legacy to the English game," he told the Daily Mail. "As a result the elite end of the sport in this country was in a terrible state... When the edifice fell over after the 2003 World Cup, there was nothing behind it."
Motor racing - China's Chengdu International Circuit will host the second round of the A1 GP series from Nov. 7-9 with proceeds from the event going to the Sichuan earthquake relief fund, organisers said.
The date was originally set for Indonesia, and that race will be switched to Feb. 6-8 at a new venue. Chengdu will be the fourth Chinese track to host a round of the self-styled 'World Cup of Motorsport.' (Editing by Alan Baldwin)
