Belgium's Kinepolis says AXA holds 9.5 pct of shrs

BRUSSELS, June 30 (Reuters) - Kinepolis (KIPO.BR) said on Tuesday that French insurer AXA (AXAF.PA) as of June 22 held a 9.5 percent interest in the Belgian cinema operator.

It said AXA's Belgian unit held 623,179 voting rights, or 8.99 percent of Kinepolis, while AXA's French unit held 35 voting rights, or 0.5 percent of shares.

The group operates cinemas in Belgium, France, Spain and Switzerland. (Editing by Jon Loades-Carter)
