ACL.BK, Thailand's smallest lender, is 19.3 percent owned by
Bangkok Bank (BBL.BK) and 30.6 percent by Finance Ministry.
The two major shareholders was in the process of selling
their shares to China's Industrial and Commercial Bank of China
(ICBC), the world's largest bank by market value.
ICBC said it was planning to buy ACL for about $545
million, helping it expand its footprint in Southeast Asia.
