India's Tata Steel, MMTC for joint venture co
MUMBAI, Oct 22 (Reuters) - India's Tata Steel (TISC.BO) said on Thursday it has formed a joint venture with state-owned mineral trading firm MMTC Ltd (MMTC.BO) to acquire, develop mines, minerals and metals.
Tata Steel, the world's eighth largest steel maker, would hold 74 percent in the venture and the remainder by MMTC, it said in a statement. (Reporting by Janaki Krishnan; Editing by Jarshad Kakkrakandy)
